Job Title: Reintegration Assistant Intern
Location: Slemani, Iraq (with occasional field visits to sub-districts, districts, and other cities as required)

Working Hours: Sunday – Thursday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Reintegration Assistant Intern to support the implementation of reintegration and livelihood programs. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in program coordination, participant support, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and administrative operations within a professional and impact-driven environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to assist in participant registration, assessments, employment support activities, documentation management, and program monitoring while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Register participants attending project activities and maintain accurate attendance records.
Conduct participant assessments through interviews, discussions, and observations to support the development of individualized assistance plans.
Provide guidance and basic counseling to program participants throughout project activities.
Support participant placement by identifying and coordinating relevant employment, training, or livelihood opportunities.
Liaise with companies, employers, and business establishments to identify suitable employment opportunities for participants.
Assist in monitoring participant progress and support procurement activities in accordance with approved business plans.
Prepare reports, summaries, and project documentation as requested by management.
Participate in meetings, workshops, seminars, training sessions, and other project-related activities.
Review business plans with participants to identify challenges, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Translate documents and communications between Kurdish, English, and Arabic as required.
Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and privacy standards when handling participant information.
Provide participants with relevant information, referrals, and available support services.
Organize and maintain both physical and electronic project documentation, including filing, scanning, and record management.
Perform other duties and administrative tasks assigned by the project management team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field; a degree in English Language is highly preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Kurdish, English, and Arabic.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and email communication.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Good report writing and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Willingness to travel occasionally for field visits within the project area.
