The Bible deserves to be read carefully and WITHOUT YOUR LYING MANS INTERPRETATION you liars. Not used as a weapon.
JESUS DIDN’T BUILD AN INSTITUTION
Where did Jesus establish the denomination? Where did He build the temple? Where did He establish a headquarters? Where did He create a corporate hierarchy? Where did He tell His followers to build enormous religious buildings?
YOU FAT UNDISCIPLINED LIARS.
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
The early Christians gathered in homes.
“Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus.”
“Likewise greet the church that is in their house.” Romans 16:5
“Salute Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.” Colossians 4:15
The church IS people you LIARS!
The word ekklesia describes an assembly or congregation.
The people were the gathering. The people were the body. The people were the family.
“Ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” 1 Corinthians 12:27
Members. YOU FAT LIARS!
Not spectators. Not customers. Not financial supporters of an institution.
Members of a body.
BREAKING BREAD TOGETHER
And what did they do when they gathered?
They ate, They drank, They shared, They prayed, They encouraged one another TO DO GOOD WORKS!!!
Good works!!? You liars don’t do that!!
You attend, dress up, and PAY that institution. You don’t do good works.
The Christian life WAS NOT sitting in rows while one man talks for an hour.
They lived together. They ate together. They helped one another. They carried burdens. They prayed. They encouraged. They did good WORKS or ACTIONS OF COMPASSION!
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.” Hebrews 10:24
That’s what gathering is for. To PROVOKE ONE ANOTHER TO HELP OTHERS!!!

NOT A SYSTEM — A FAMILY
The church isn’t supposed to be a machine that produces religious consumers.
It’s supposed to be people helping people become more like Christ.
“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood.” 1 Peter 2:5
Look at that. YOU ARE A PRIESTHOOD that SERVES OTHERS!!!
But you don’t!!
You get fatter and fatter and fatter because you can’t control yourselves … and you go to a temple and pay them money to serve you!!??
Living stones??! Not bricks in a religious corporation. Living people.
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16
You are the temple.
Not that LYING building YOU LIARS call “CHURCH” you LIARS!
You are supposed to be the church that does ACTIONS OF COMPASSION!!
“For ye are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:16
And Jesus said:
“The kingdom of God cometh not with observation.” Luke 17:20
“For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21
ITS IN YOU!!!?

THE REAL BATTLE IS INSIDE YOU
This is where Christianity becomes incredibly difficult.
Because it’s easy to point at somebody else.
It’s much harder to look in the mirror.
“Be renewed in the spirit of your mind.” Ephesians 4:23
“Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man.” Colossians 3:9-10
That’s the battle.
Old man. New man.
Old thinking. New thinking.
Old reactions. New reactions.
Old habits. New habits.
Old anger. New patience.
Old pride. New humility.
Old selfishness. New love.
That’s discipleship.
Your PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO CONVINCE ANYONE!!
You don’t have to make everybody agree with you.
You don’t have to win every argument.
You don’t have to defend yourself every time somebody misunderstands you.
“Be ready with an answer of the hope that lies within you!!?”
Put that in context for once!!!
You don’t have to chase people around trying to make them believe what you believe.
