လူ့အခွင့်အရေးဆိုင်ရာဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး ဦးအောင်ကျော်မိုး နဲ့ တာဝန်ရှိသူတွေဟာ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ ဘာသာရေးလွတ်လပ်ခွင့်ဆိုင်ရာ အမေရိကန်ကော်မရှင် (United States Commission on International Religious Freedom_ USCIRF) ရဲ့ အမှုဆောင်ဒါရိုက်တာ Erin D. Singshinsuk ဦးဆောင်တဲ့အဖွဲ့နဲ့ ဇွန်လ (၂၄) ရက်နေ့က တွေ့ဆုံပြီး လက်ရှိ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ ဖြစ်ပွားနေတဲ့ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးဆိုင်ရာ အခြေအနေ၊ အကျပ်အတည်းတွေကို အသေးစိတ် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
ဒီတွေ့ဆုံမှုအတွင်းမှာတော့ တနိုင်ငံလုံး အတိုင်းအတာနဲ့ ပိုပြီးဆိုးရွားလာနေတဲ့ အကြမ်းဖက်စစ်အုပ်စုရဲ့ လူ့အခွင့်အရေး ချိုးဖောက်မှု အခြေအနေတွေ၊ ရိုဟင်ဂျာပြည်သူတွေ ကြုံတွေ့နေရတဲ့ အတိဒုက္ခတွေအပြင် ဆက်လက်ဖြစ်ပွားနေတဲ့ ပဋိပက္ခတွေကြားထဲမှာ အခြားသော လူနည်းစုပြည်သူများ နဲ့ ဘာသာရေး လူနည်းစုတွေ ရင်ဆိုင်နေရတဲ့ စိန်ခေါ်မှုတွေအကြောင်းကို အဓိကထား အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် လူ့အခွင့်အရေး ချိုးဖောက်ကျူးလွန်သူတွေကို ထိရောက်စွာ အရေးယူနိုင်ဖို့ တာဝန်ခံမှုရှိရေး၊ ထိခိုက်လွယ်တဲ့ လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းတွေကို ကာကွယ်ပေးရေးနဲ့ တန်းတူညီမျှမှုကို အခြေခံတဲ့ ဖက်ဒရယ်ဒီမိုကရေစီနိုင်ငံ တည်ဆောက်နိုင်ဖို့အတွက် နိုင်ငံတကာရဲ့ ကူညီပံ့ပိုးမှုတွေ အရေးတကြီး လိုအပ်နေတဲ့အကြောင်းတွေကိုလည်း အလေးအနက်ထား ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
ဆွေးနွေးပွဲအတွင်းမှာ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး ဦးအောင်ကျော်မိုးနဲ့ တာဝန်ရှိသူတွေက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအရေးကို အစဉ်တစိုက် အလေးထားပေးတဲ့အတွက် USCIRF ကို အထူးပဲ ကျေးဇူးတင်စကား ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် ဘေးဒုက္ခခံစားနေရသူတွေနဲ့ ဖယ်ကျဉ် ခံထားရတဲ့ ပြည်သူတွေရဲ့အသံကို ကမ္ဘာက ကြားသိနိုင်ဖို့ နိုင်ငံတကာရဲ့ စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ပါဝင်ပတ်သက်မှုက အလွန်အရေးကြီးကြောင်းကိုလည်း ထည့်သွင်းဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ဒါ့အပြင် ဆွေးနွေးမှုအတွင်းမှာပဲမြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာရှိတဲ့ ပြည်သူလူထုအားလုံးဟာ လူမျိုး၊ ဘာသာ၊ဖြစ်တည်မှု ဒါမှမဟုတ် ဘယ်လိုခွဲခြားမှုမျိုးမှမရှိဘဲ ငြိမ်းချမ်းမှု၊ လုံခြုံမှုနဲ့ လူသားဂုဏ်သိက္ခာအပြည့်နဲ့ အတူတကွ ယှဉ်တွဲနေထိုင်နိုင်မယ့် အနာဂတ်တခုဆီ ရောက်ရှိနိုင်ဖို့အတွက် အတူတကွ ဆက်လက်ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိနေတဲ့ အချက်ကိုလည်း အလေးအနက်ထား ထည့်သွင်းဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။
On June 24, Deputy Minister U Aung Kyaw Moe of the Ministry of Human Rights, alongside ministry officials, met with Erin D. Singshinsuk, the Executive Director of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), and the USCIRF team to engage in a detailed discussion regarding the ongoing crisis in Myanmar.
During the meeting, both sides primarily exchanged views on the deteriorating human rights situation across the country resulting from the military junta’s atrocities, the persecution of the Rohingya people, and the severe challenges faced by other ethnic and religious minorities amid the continuing conflict. Furthermore, they underscored the urgent need for accountability to hold perpetrators of human rights violations responsible, the absolute necessity of protecting vulnerable communities, and the critical importance of international support in building a federal democratic Myanmar founded on equality, justice, and human dignity.
Throughout the discussion, Deputy Minister U Aung Kyaw Moe and the officials expressed their deep appreciation to USCIRF for its sustained attention to the Myanmar crisis and its unwavering advocacy. They also emphasized that as the people of Myanmar continue their struggle for freedom and democracy, sustained international engagement remains paramount to ensuring that the voices of victims and marginalized communities are heard globally.
In addition, during the discussion, both parties profoundly emphasized the commitment to continue working collectively toward a future where all people in Myanmar, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or any form of discrimination, can coexist in peace, security, and full human dignity.
