🔥 CPI has not moved BTC more than 1% for three months straight. This one is different.

Those three prints all landed weeks before the Fed met, so the data had time to get diluted. This time there are only 5 days in between, with no second inflation print.

📌 And what is being priced now is a hike, not a cut. August payrolls came in at +162K against a 53K forecast, and hike odds sit just over 60%. Most positioning is still built on the "waiting for a cut" script.

📌 Watch CPI month-over-month, forecast +0.3% only: +0.3% is the base case, +0.4% is hawkish.One notch apart, three different tapes.

📊 Worth a look back: July came in below forecast, BTC jumped 4.4% on the day and gave every bit of it back within 48 hours. Whoever bought that afternoon was back where they started the next day.
