Allah describes the plot of the shaytaan in surah al-Nisa':

‎[يَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْ ۖ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا]

"The shaytaan makes them promises and deludes them. And the shaytaan only promises them delusion." [120]

Imam al-Sa'di said the profound words under his tafsir of this ayah:

"The shaytaan makes them promises and deludes them" - The shaytaan promises those whom He strives to mislead, and the word "promise" includes even threats, like in Allah's statement:

‎[الشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الْفَقْرَ]

"The shaytaan promises them poverty" [al-Baqarah ayah 268]

for he promises them that if they spend in Allah's cause that they will become poor and he makes them afraid that if they perform jihaad that they will be killed, and so on. This is like Allah's statement:

‎[إِنَّمَا ذَٰلِكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَاءَهُ فَلَا تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ]

"That is only the shaytaan who frighten you of his supporters. So do not fear them; fear Me if you are truly believers." [Aal 'Imran ayah 175]

When a servant tries to make Allah's pleasure His primary concern, the shaytaan causes him to fear and worry about what might happen and even what couldn't possibly happen - whatever might cross his mind - until he gives up on doing any good.

Likewise, the shaytaan tricks them with false delusions which in reality are just like a mirage. That is why Allah then says, "And the shaytaan only promises them delusion."

Describing Camp Life and Sex in Camp

The final week of camp activities is here, hope you are not over-socializing, tonight post is about that

Some might think camp is a place to go wild with fellow corpers. Huh, Not really at least it is against camp code we've shared here already.

Hence why you should not disgrace to your school and family. Hold body because the 21days is almost over. I have seen in my batch where 8 corpers were dekited and decamped. For some days to our camp POP. they were caught having sex in mami at night. Think of the stress and the shame you have caused to your family and the society.

Again, be friendly with camp officials but never have sex with camp officials just because you want redeployment or good posting. Some female corpers derived pleasure in having sex with army, man o'war, even some with cleaners, or vigilante just because they want to be redeployed or they need a good posting.

Are you that cheap?  A graduate? Allowing army with myopic reasoning to have you!! Is disgusting. To be Frank, soldiers has nothing to do with your posting.

I have seen cases where after soldier promised some ladies either redeployment or good posting, at the end, the secret came out when nothing of such was done. The only things that can give you good posting is for you to be active in all platoon activities. Or try to be fellowship executives because they are mostly posted in the state capital. So if you want to be posted in the state capital, try to be serious with your fellowship and even try to be made an executive. And then hold any activity you do well.

Again, during your platoon meetings,  there is a general contribution you will be asked to pay.. Either 500 or a 1000 naira.  The secret is.... This money is not compulsory because it is only used to facilitate platoon needs. In my time we were 200 in my platoon and we all paid 500 which amount to about 150,000 and we spent just 50,000 inside that money... We then foolishly used the rest to enrich our platoon officer. I will advice you not to even pay. Some people might even like to show off by contributing more, even like 10,000 like a lady did in my set.

NOTE: Please.. Don't do it. Be wise.

Finally, stealing is somehow legalized in camp. So be watchful and you can use maker on demarcate your kites.
