TUMI за десять лет поддержала развитие экологичного транспорта в 120 городах Инициатива Transport and Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI) подвела итоги десяти лет работы, в течение которых она поддерживала проекты устойчивой городской мобильности в 120 городах мира. Одним из основных направлений стало развитие электрического общественного транспорта, а следующим этапом программы станет более активная поддержка железнодорожных проектов. Один из примеров — Бангалор, где сегодня эксплуатируется почти 1 800 электробусов. По данным TUMI, их использование позволяет сокращать выбросы примерно на 140 тонн CO₂ в сутки. В рамках инициативы с 2021 года была оказана поддержка закупке около 100 тыс. электробусов в разных странах. Особое внимание уделяется быстро растущим городам Глобального Юга, где развитие общественного транспорта может одновременно снизить выбросы и помочь справиться с ростом населения и транспортного спроса. По оценке ООН, на города приходится до 75% мировых выбросов CO₂. Поэтому инвестиции в более экологичный транспорт особенно важны для агломераций, которые сейчас активно расширяются и формируют инфраструктуру на десятилетия вперед. TUMI финансируется Федеральным министерством экономического сотрудничества и развития Германии. В реализации программы также участвуют KfW и еще девять партнерских организаций. Помимо закупки электрического транспорта, инициатива помогает городам разрабатывать проекты более надежных и доступных систем общественного транспорта. Такие программы были подготовлены примерно для 40 городов, а последующие инвестиции в них превысили €5 млрд. Один из примеров — Сан-Паулу, где модернизируются две линии метро. Ожидается, что обновление инфраструктуры улучшит условия поездок примерно для 500 тыс. пассажиров. В проекте используются системы сигнализации Siemens Mobility и тормозное оборудование Knorr. Теперь TUMI намерена уделять больше внимания железнодорожному транспорту и региональным связям. В инициативе отмечают, что все больше пассажиров ежедневно пересекают административные границы городов, поэтому транспортное планирование должно учитывать не только внутригородские, но и пригородные поездки. Особенно актуальна эта задача для Африки, где, по прогнозам, городское население к 2050 году удвоится. TUMI рассчитывает использовать накопленный опыт и существующую сеть партнеров для развития новых железнодорожных проектов и усиления связей между городами и окружающими территориями. Одним из первых шагов станет диалог между представителями европейской и африканской железнодорожной отрасли на выставке InnoTrans 2026. Инициатива рассматривает это сотрудничество как основу для нового этапа своей работы, в котором железнодорожный транспорт должен занять более заметное место.
