And Jesus’ warnings were directed into that historical world.

If every Christian is commanded to spend his entire life publicly confronting everybody about religion, why does Paul repeatedly emphasize something else?
Where is that in any of the New Testament writings?

Quietness.
Peace.
Work.

What kind of message is that?
We need to actually read the Bible instead of simply inheriting terminology.
The New Testament uses several different words and concepts that have often been flattened into one English word, “hell.”
There is Hades.
There is Gehenna.
There is the lake of fire in Revelation.
There is judgment.
There is destruction.
There is the coming judgment associated with the end of the JEIWSH age the lake of fire referring to the DESTRUCTION OF THE JEWISH CITY JERUSALEM in the first century … NOT TORTURE FOR ALL ETERNITY because you didn’t pay enough money or attend enough services!
