The Registrar says the allocated funds will be disbursed quarterly upon receipt from the National Treasury.
ANC received funds because High Court ruling legally reinstated it as an independent, fully registered political party, nullifying its earlier merger and dissolution into President William Ruto's UDA.
DCP led by Rigathi Gachagua, missed out on the 2026/2027 fund because it does not meet the strict statutory eligibility criteria under the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP), Formed after the 2022 General Election, DCP has not yet contested a general election cycle.
The Roots Party of Kenya did not qualify or meet the criteria to share the disbursement from the fund for this fiscal period.
