🇷🇺 Прервалась 9-недельная подземная ракета российского рынка! Теперь она летит вверх (на +10.5%). Надолго ли? Не уверен, но когда-то надо начинать закупки. Лучший портфель недели – Бухло (+28%), не зря я не стал его выкидывать на помойку истории. Хулинвестиции тоже звездят: +19.5%. Лучшая бумага недели – Русагро (+80%), её добираю на Пенсию (+14.5%). Вторая удивительная победа у Астры (+41%) и на третьем месте – Артген (+37%), которого у меня прям чесалось набрать на дне, ведь бизнес компании после уполовинивания капитализации вообще никак не пострадал (и он не один такой!). Большой рост также у Позитива (+22.5%) и Софтлайна (+21.5%), они оба остались только на Пенсии. И, кстати, удаление Хулинформатики несколько месяцев назад всё ещё остаётся невероятно прозорливым решением. Сильно упал по итогам недели только Озон (-10.5%) и если честно, я не знаю, пора ли его подбирать. Биржевые портфели добавили за эту неделю больше 2 млн рублей, но радоваться рано. Впереди зима!

🇺🇸 Амеры падают вторую неделю, но незаметно: всего на -0.5%. Выросла Nvidia (+2%) на новостях о том, что видеокарты значительно подорожают. Остальные бигтехи не очень рады: Alphabet потерял 8%, Amazon – 6%, Microsoft выдала -3%, а SpaceX от самых хаёв уже уполовинилась (хотя на днях успешно запустила очередной корабль со спутниками). На Ближнем Востоке сумбур, Трамп не звонит, а пишет загадочные посты (кстати, собирается на третий срок). Илон Маск запостил грустный твит, что он бывший триллионер. Умеет в юмор! У Tesla худшая неделя за 4 года. В США самая большая вспышка кори за 35 лет – больше 2300 заболевших. Но “самая большая за 35 лет” – это лишь звучит громко. В России 2 года назад было 22500 больных (в прошлом году – порядка 6.5 тысяч). А вот людей у нас в 2.3 раза меньше. Paramount может не получить Warner Bros: судья получил антитрастовый протест от 12 штатов. Напомню, что сначала его не получил Netflix (который, кстати, вырос на 2%), так не доставайся же ты никому!

🇳🇬 Нигерийская найра стоит 5.7 копейки. Три года назад она была в 2 раза дороже, а 5 лет назад – в 3 раза дороже. Население Нигерии в 1.7 раза больше российского: 3 года назад я писал про 210 млн, 2 года назад – 220 млн; год назад – 230 млн, сейчас это уже 242 млн человек. Нигерия экспортирует нефть и (никогда не угадаете) кино – правда, только в Африку. Ещё какао-бобы, золото, цемент, свинец и цинк. Нигерия по ВВП на 19 месте в мире (+8 мест за год, дичайший рост благосостояния) между Египтом и Тайванем и на 6-м - по населению (но лет через 15 она обгонит Пакистан). Капитализация фондового рынка Нигерии (NGX) – примерно $100 млрд (в 6 раз меньше РФ). Самые большие компании: британско-индийская Airtel Africa ($15 млрд, телеком), Dangote Cement ($12 ярдов, крупнейший производитель цемента во всей Африке), MTN Nigeria Communications ($12 ярдов, телеком).

Самое одинокое дерево в мире пережило засуху, пески и бури, но оказалось бессильным перед пьяным водителем захудалого грузовика.

В самом центре Сахары, в нигерийской пустыне Тенере стояло дерево. Одно-единственное. На 400 километров в любую сторону не было ничего — только песок, камни и горизонт. Акация. Кривая, невысокая, с жалкой кроной, которая давала тень размером с обеденный стол. И это было самое важное дерево на планете.

Его называли «Дерево Тенере». Оно было единственным ориентиром для караванов туарегов, пересекавших Сахару. Без него пустыня была просто бескрайним ничем — ни одной точки, за которую мог бы зацепиться глаз. Дерево стояло на перекрёстке караванных путей, и поколениями люди шли к нему через раскалённый ад, зная, что если увидят его крону на горизонте, значит, они на правильном пути.

В 1938 году военные выкопали колодец рядом с деревом и обнаружили, что его корни уходят на 36 метров вниз — до подземного водоносного горизонта. Три десятка метров сквозь мёртвый песок. Эта акация цеплялась за жизнь с яростью, которой позавидует любой человек.

Дерево пережило века караванной торговли, колониальные войны, бури и засухи. Его нанесли на военные карты — единственное дерево, обозначенное на карте масштабом 1:4 000 000. Точка в пустоте.

Точка в судьбе дерева была поставлена в 1973 году. Причем эта история насколько грустная, настолько и нелепая. Дерево Тенере погубил водитель-ливиец. По рассказам, он был пьян и, желая эффектно остановиться на привал в метре от ствола, не рассчитал расстояние и на полном ходу врезался в многострадальную акацию. В единственное дерево на четыреста километров вокруг. В пустыне, где нет ни стен, ни столбов, ни заборов — только бесконечный открытый песок. Он нашёл единственный вертикальный объект и врезался в него.

Дерево переломилось и погибло.

Его остатки перевезли в Национальный музей Нигера в Ниамее. На месте, где оно стояло, установили металлическую скульптуру дерева из труб и автомобильных деталей. Караваны больше не ходят через Тенере — их заменили грузовики. Но туареги до сих пор рассказывают о дереве своим детям.

Эта история бьёт куда-то в район солнечного сплетения. Дерево, простоявшее сотни лет в самых жестоких условиях на планете, выжившее вопреки всей логике, убито ни бурей, ни засухой, ни временем. Его убил человек. Который даже не заметил, что натворил.

Мы так устроены: можем проехать мимо единственного чуда на сотни километров и случайно раздавить его бампером. Это не метафора. Это буквально то, что мы делаем с планетой каждый день...

Індонезійська iGaming-мережа використовувала сайти держорганів 16 країн Африки для просування в Google

🔹Фахівці з кібербезпеки виявили близько 20 сайтів державних установ у 16 африканських країнах, на яких приховано розміщувалися сторінки з рекламою iGaming-платформ. За даними розслідування, ці ресурси використовувалися для покращення позицій сайтів у пошуковій видачі Google.

🔹Дослідники із Zend Cybersecurity Threat Labs встановили, що зловмисники інтегрували сторінки з азартними іграми на державні домени, користуючись високим рівнем довіри Google до офіційних сайтів.

🔹Сліди кампанії знайшли на ресурсах держустанов Нігерії, Єгипту, Кенії, Уганди, Гани, ПАР та ще десяти африканських країн.

🔹За технічними ознаками, серед яких використання індонезійської платіжної системи QRIS, номерів служби підтримки та окремих елементів програмного коду, дослідники пов’язали операцію з індонезійською iGaming-мережею.

🔹Засновник Zend Cybersecurity Threat Labs повідомив, що більшість скомпрометованих державних серверів працювали на застарілому програмному забезпеченні, мали невиправлені вразливості, а адміністративні панелі були відкриті для доступу з інтернету. За його словами, для отримання контролю над сайтами не потрібно було застосовувати складні методи злому.

🔹Розслідування також показало, що основною цільовою аудиторією iGaming-платформ були користувачі з Індонезії, тоді як африканські державні сайти використовувалися виключно для підвищення видимості ресурсів у пошуковій видачі Google.

THE TIME MY NYSC SURE PLUG FAILED ME

Surely, Nigeria has served you some crazy surprises, but did you jam your NYSC “sure plug” in Maiduguri orientation camp?

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), celebrated its 53th anniversary in 2026. The program was set up by the Nigerian government during the military regime in 1973, to involve Nigerian graduates in nation-building. The government dreamt of a Nigeria that was united and peaceful.

While it may have been a bright idea in 1973, the security situation in Nigeria these days makes it difficult to defend its relevance. The major problem I have with the scheme is that it forces young people to travel long distances, mostly by road, to states across the country. In a country where kidnappers abound, it’s not a risk most are happy to take.

When it was my turn to serve Nigeria in 2019, I knew I had to ensure I was posted to Lagos. Or at worst, somewhere in the southwest region. I couldn’t risk getting posted to any state that involved travelling through the roads that were notorious for kidnappers. I knew there was no way my parents were going to pay a huge ransom for me. I can imagine a kidnapper calling my dad to send 15 million naira if he ever wants to see his son alive again. His reply "can you keep him with you, just both of you don't disturb me again I have plenty children."

I wanted to stay in Lagos and I’d do anything to make that happen. So I had to take matters into my own hands. I asked a few friends if they knew someone who could help “run this thing”. Someone introduced me to a guy named John Bosco*, and I begged this dude to help out.

He gave me an address to meet up with him. It turned out to be a cyber cafe, which I assumed he owned. He seemed like a fairly normal guy in his late 20s who spoke with a slight stutter and wore a gold necklace with a giant cross pendant. He boasted that he’d been helping corpers with NYSC posting and relocation for several years and had never failed, then proceeded to charge me ₦50k for his service. I reluctantly parted with the money and kept my faith in a guy I’d only spoken to once.

When I was eventually posted. I found out it was to Taraba state. Taraba? How? I cast my mind back to how Bosco had promised the posting was foolproof.

I tried to reach out to him to, at least, get a refund. This man had blocked me everywhere. I counted my losses and decided to make the best out of my sorry situation.

After a journey that lasted almost two days, I arrived at the NYSC Camp in Jalingo, Taraba’s capital and lined up to start my registration. As I glanced at people’s faces, one stood out. The dude looked familiar. He was tall, dark and John Bosco. The person who was supposed to be my sure plug for a Lagos posting was a corper who’d also been posted to Taraba.

What could I do? The damage was done. What’s the moral of the story? Nigeria is a crazy place, open your eyes don't be Bosco(ed), and don't forget to share with others

In Week 27 and 28 of 2026, Nigeria recorded sustained #LassaFever activity, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.

In week 27, a Total of 154 new suspected cases were reported, along with 14 new confirmed cases and 3 new confirmed death.

In week 28, A Total of 216 new suspected cases were reported, along with 25 new confirmed cases and 4 new confirmed death. Additionally, 23 states and 114 LGAs were affected.

These figures highlight the need for continued vigilance, early detection, and strict preventive measures.

Чергові питання щодо державної допомоги розглянули на сьогоднішньому засіданні Антимонопольний комітет України. Так, Комітет схвалив проєкт постанови Кабінету Міністрів України «Про затвердження критеріїв оцінки допустимості державної допомоги на відновлення платоспроможності та реструктуризацію суб’єктів господарювання та про внесення змін до деяких постанов Кабінету Міністрів України» та надав роз’яснення з питань застосування законодавства у сфері державної допомоги щодо підтримки суб’єктів господарювання, що здійснюють діяльність у сфері морського транспорту.

❗ Ці документи розроблені на виконання Розділу 8 «Конкурентна політика» Національної програми адаптації законодавства України до права Європейського Союзу та є черговим кроком у виконанні Україною своїх євроінтеграційних зобов’язань та подальшому наближенні національного законодавства у сфері державної допомоги до стандартів Європейського Союзу.

⚠️ Прийняли рішення і стосовно порушників конкурентного законодавства. Зокрема, ▪️ за антиконкурентні узгоджені дії ТОВ «ФОРМ ТРЕЙД» оштрафовано на 17 млн 92 тис 714 грн, ПП «АЛЛЕН-БІЗНЕС» - на 679 тис 998 грн, ТОВ «Швейна фабрика «ПРОФІ ТЕКС» - на 12 млн 87 тис 700 грн; ▪️ ⁠за неподання інформації у встановлений строк на вимогу АМКУ на ТОВ «КОМПАНІЯ СПІРИТ» накладено штраф у розмірі 100 тис грн.

Ежегодно на северо-западе Нигерии проводится Аргунгуский фестиваль рыбалки. Впервые массовую ловлю рыбы устроили около ста лет назад как символ примирения между племенами. Сейчас ради участия на фестиваль съезжаются десятки тысяч человек.

It changes the law governing Údarás na Gaeltachta, the agency responsible for Irish-speaking (Gaeltacht/Irish language) areas. The government is basically restructuring the body that manages the Gaeltacht regions.

The Gaeltacht is one of the last remaining strongholds of native Irish culture and language. If the government is restructuring this agency, it is worth asking whether it is being weakened, defunded, or repurposed to serve multiculturalist ends. The detail matters, but one thing Nationalists should remeber: the state does NOT prioritise preserving the native culture!

Health (Amendment) (Home Support Providers) Act 2026

Introduces a statutory system for regulating home support providers, such as home-care services. In other words, the government is creating a formal licensing and regulation system for home care.

This looks like a mundane healthcare regulation, but it creates a new state controlled registry of care workers and recipients. Any system that centralises data on vulnerable populations is a surveillance risk. More importantly, home care is increasingly staffed by migrant labour. If the state uses this to formalise that dependency, it entrenches the replacement of native family care structures.

The family is the basic unit of the nation. State intrusion into home care weakens family autonomy and accelerates cultural replacement. Most home care workers in Ireland are from the Philippines, India, Nigeria, Eastern Europe. This act does not stop that, it formalises it. It entrenches the replacement of native labour and culture in a deeply intimate setting.. the care of your own family members.

Critical Infrastructure Act 2026 New powers and obligations to protect essential infrastructure such as energy, transport, communications, and other critical services from threats and disruptions. The regie gets new powers to control and protect things like the power grid, water systems, internet, and transport networks.

This law gives the state sweeping powers to control infrastructure during a declared “emergency.” It can be used to shut down communications, restrict movment, control energy distribution, and seize private assets in the name of national security. The definition of “threat” is broad enough to include civil unrest, protest, or political opposition.
