Imam Al-Zuhri (125 AH) said: Our past scholars used to say: Holding fast to the Sunnah is salvation, and knowledge is quickly taken away, so knowledge revives the stability of religion and the world, and in the disappearance of knowledge is the disappearance of all of that. [Sunan al-Darimi 97]
