Will the author know I watched their story?
No. You don’t appear in the viewers list and the view counter doesn’t change. Nobody gets a notification.
Do I need a Telegram account?

Whose stories can I watch?
Any public Telegram user or channel with a username. Stories shared only with close friends or contacts stay private.
Can I download Telegram stories?
Yes. Open a story and press Download to save it as a photo or video.
How many stories can I watch for free?
Two stories a day. The counter resets every day at midnight UTC, and the stories you have already opened stay available until then.
Why do I sometimes have to wait?
When the viewer is busy, you get a short place in the queue with a countdown, and the stories open by themselves when it’s your turn. Profiles that someone opened recently load instantly.
Does it work on my phone?
