1. COTI Foundation COTI Foundation continues as is. Robbie is setting a new mission for the project, with a bigger emphasis on commercial development.

Sara joins as CMO, with a background in building consumer apps. She will lead the launch of the COTI app and its products.

2. Wider Roadmap There is no structural change to the project, beyond the change of management. This is necessary to shape the vision beyond a purely technical focus.

Robbie brings a network, and experience, focused on business applications of the technology. Implementation of $COTI is at the heart of this.

3. Timeline At the centre of Robbie's focus is a new central application, which allows COTI to be spent as a privacy payment rail for everything in day to day life.

The public roadmap, detailing each milestone the new app will bring, will be published tomorrow.

Confidence is earned. Robbie is committed to years of work on the implementation of $COTI as a private, spendable currency, and to letting that work speak for itself.

La Banca Centrale sta preparando una soluzione che consentirà di effettuare pagamenti in rubli digitali anche senza connessione internet, ha dichiarato Nabiullina.

• I cittadini hanno aperto quasi 200.000 conti in rubli digitali in sole tre settimane. • Il rublo digitale è un prodotto interamente sviluppato in Russia, conforme ai più elevati standard di sicurezza. • Il rublo digitale migliorerà significativamente il controllo sulla spesa pubblica.

Il Presidente Putin ha chiesto al Ministero delle Finanze e alla Banca Centrale di fornire spiegazioni più dettagliate sulla differenza tra i pagamenti elettronici (senza contanti) e il rublo digitale.

La differenza fondamentale è che si tratta di denaro programmabile.

Le restrizioni sulle modalità di spesa dei rubli digitali verranno introdotte gradualmente una volta che la CBDC della Banca di Russia entrerà in circolazione in massa; lo ha spiegato Anatoly Aksakov, presidente della Commissione per i mercati finanziari della Duma di Stato, in un'intervista del 2025 rilasciata alla *Rossiyskaya Gazeta*.

Già nel 2025, Aksakov aveva previsto l'adozione di "decisioni ponderate" in merito alle misure di controllo, da attuare "gradualmente" non appena il rublo digitale fosse entrato in circolazione su larga scala.

Tuttavia, la Banca di Russia ha più volte smentito che tali "decisioni ponderate" siano anche solo al vaglio, ribadendo che "la scelta della forma del rublo [contante, elettronico o digitale] spetterà ai cittadini" e che "sarà possibile spendere i propri rubli digitali come si ritiene opportuno".

Come già accennato, la Banca di Russia ha inoltre respinto (https://www.cbr.ru/faq/dr/) come "mito" l'ipotesi che i sussidi sociali sarebbero stati erogati esclusivamente in rubli digitali.

Le dichiarazioni di Aksakov smentiscono anche l'idea che i rubli digitali possano essere liberamente convertiti in contanti o in rubli elettronici.

Per inciso, in un articolo riguardante il modello di valuta digitale brasiliano, lo sviluppatore blockchain Pedro Magalhães ha affermato di aver effettuato il reverse engineering del progetto pilota della CBDC brasiliana, scoprendo un codice che consentirebbe di congelare i conti o di svuotarli a piacimento. Lo sviluppatore blockchain, che sostiene di aver effettuato il reverse engineering del codice sorgente del progetto pilota della valuta digitale della banca centrale (CBDC) del Brasile, ha scoperto nel codice alcune funzioni che consentirebbero all'autorità centrale di congelare fondi o ridurre i saldi.

The whole game is just concentrated capital playing musical chairs with infrastructure contracts and government favors. My bagel is stale. When you see wealth hitting 50 percent of gdp it means the bottom is getting hollowed out for the sake of these defense contracts. Jean Thurel (1698–1807): Ein Soldatenleben über drei Jahrhunderte

Jean Thurel gilt als einer der am längsten dienenden Soldaten der Militärgeschichte. 1698 geboren, trat er 1716 in das französische Régiment de Touraine ein. Seine Dienstzeit erstreckte sich über mehr als 75 Jahre – vom Ancien Régime über die Französische Revolution bis zum Napoleonischen Kaiserreich.

Obwohl er an zentralen Konflikten wie dem Österreichischen Erbfolgekrieg, dem Siebenjährigen Krieg und dem Amerikanischen Unabhängigkeitskrieg teilnahm, lehnte Thurel Beförderungen stets ab und blieb zeitlebens einfacher Soldat. Als einziger Angehöriger der Armee erhielt er dreimal die Médaille des deux épées (für jeweils 24 Dienstjahre).

1804 zeichnete Napoleon Bonaparte den damals 105-Jährigen persönlich mit der Ehrenlegion aus. Thurel verstarb 1807 im Alter von 108 Jahren.

🔖 Raiffeisen Bank International has partnered with Bitpanda Enterprise to create a common digital asset framework for its Central and Eastern European banking network, potentially bringing crypto services within reach of up to 18 million customers. The arrangement expands a model already used by Raiffeisen banks in Austria, where customers have been given access to cryptocurrencies through their existing banking environment. Instead of requiring customers to open a separate account with a crypto platform, Bitpanda provides the infrastructure behind the service offered through the bank.

⭐️ RBI operates subsidiary banks across 11 Central and Eastern European markets and serves more than 18 million customers. Bitpanda Enterprise will provide the underlying digital asset technology for the network, creating a common setup that participating banks can use when introducing their own services. Raiffeisen’s work with Bitpanda began at Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien, or RLB NÖ-Wien, which became one of the early traditional European Union banks to give customers access to cryptocurrencies within its existing banking setup.

🌐 Kazakhstan crypto trading turnover surged past $10 billion in 2025

⚠️ Kazakhstan’s regulated cryptocurrency market has surpassed $10 billion in annual trading turnover as the country expands licensed digital asset services and builds its domestic Web3 developer ecosystem. According to Deputy Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Gizzat Baitursynov, trading turnover across the regulated market reached $10.58 billion in 2025, compared with $320 million in 2023, while the number of users rose from 53,000 to 215,000 over the same period.

📊 Baitursynov disclosed the figures during a government meeting on Sept. 15, detailing the expansion that followed Kazakhstan’s initial crypto market pilot with the Astana International Financial Centre and financial regulators. Launched in 2022, the pilot was designed to test a regulatory framework for cryptocurrency exchanges before becoming the basis for a licensing and operating system within the AIFC.

⚡️ National Bank Chairman Timur Suleimenov said the center would operate on the central bank’s SupTech supervisory platform and connect with its existing Anti Fraud Center. Banks, law enforcement agencies and licensed digital asset providers are expected to receive access to its verification tools.

A Finlândia, por exemplo, prepara hospitais, abastecimento de água, empresas, autoridades e outros setores da sociedade para funcionar durante uma crise. A ideia central é simples: uma sociedade resiliente não depende de uma única estrutura funcionando perfeitamente.

E essa talvez seja a parte mais importante para nós.

Sobrevivência não começa quando tudo deu errado. Começa quando você percebe o quanto da sua vida depende de sistemas que você não controla.

Ter água armazenada. Algum alimento. Iluminação alternativa. Meios de comunicação. Conhecimento básico de primeiros socorros. Capacidade de cozinhar sem depender exclusivamente da rede elétrica. Alguma autonomia financeira e logística. E, principalmente, saber manter a cabeça funcionando quando a normalidade desaparece.
