С 10 по 26 августа 2026 года корабль-церковь «Святой апостол Андрей Первозванный» вновь отправляется в благотворительный рейд по Оби, чтобы посетить отдаленные села Болотнинского, Мошковского, Колыванского и Новосибирского районов. В этом году акции исполняется 30 лет – она родилась в 1996-м году и стала добрым символом заботы и милосердия.   В числе участников – священнослужители, представители органов соцзащиты и медработники. Для сельчан будут совершены таинства Крещения, Исповеди и Причастия, проведены духовные беседы, организованы приемы врачей и проведение функциональной диагностики (УЗИ и ЭКГ), а также оказана адресная материальная помощь нуждающимся. В этот раз акция посвящена Году единства народов России и направлена на укрепление мира и дружбы в нашем многонациональном регионе.   Благодарю всех участников за совместный труд и милосердие. Желаю команде плодотворной работы и доброго пути!

Наречений - 41-річний російський космонавт українського походження Юрій Маленченко (уродженець Світловодська на Кіровоградщині) - перебував на борту Міжнародної космічної станції; наречена — американка російського походження 26-річна Катерина Дмитрієва — в Центрі управління польотами в Х'юстоні. Шлюб зареєстровано органами юстиції штату Техас, попри неприйняття Росавіакосмосу. Через рік молодята обвінчалися в церкві.

2012 - після опублікування в офіційній парламентській газеті «Урядовий кур'єр» набув чинності Закон про мови Колесніченка-Ківалова «Про засади державної мовної політики».

2016 - ФСБ Росії заявила про затримання «групи громадян України», які нібито готували теракти в окупованому Криму, об'єктами яких були критично важливі елементи інфраструктури й життєзабезпечення півострова, а також про загибель одного співробітника ФСБ під час перестрілки. Володимир Путін заявив, що Україна переходить до терору. Петро Порошенко відкинув усі звинувачення, заявивши, що «ці фантазії — лише привід для чергових військових погроз на адресу України». Наступного для, 11 серпня, Рада Безпеки ООН (за винятком Росії) підтримала Україну. Президент США Обама не прийняв російської версії подій і запропонував Путіну ліпше сконцентруватися на виконанні Росією мінських угод.

10 августа Церковь чтит Гребневскую икону Божией Матери. По преданию, чудотворный образ казаки городка Гребни поднесли Дмитрию Донскому после победы на Куликовом поле в 1380 году. В её честь освящён летний храм усадьбы.

An overview of major religious body in NYSC series 1

We are sharing this experience as corpers go on journey and need somewhere to stay. This bodies corpers house can really be helpful.

All about NCCF and objectives

First what is NCCF?

NCCF which stands for Nigeria Christian Corpers Fellowship is an interdenominational fellowship that operate as a FAMILY, FELLOWSHIP and ORGANIZATION.

It helps christian corpers to live and relate for proper spiritual and moral growth. NCCF has a structure that if any corper can subject to will find his/her service to God & father's land fulfilling. And usually leave an unforgettable experience with her member

Objectives NCCF helps corpers achieve, also cut across pre-orientation (connecting members and chapter to help PCM), during orientation (the first main touch with corpers) and post orientation (Joining the family)

We will combine all of the stage of what NCCF helps corpers achieve into 8 broad things from the first hand story of an ex executive of Kogi NCCF member

1. NCCF HELPED IN REGISTRATION. With the crowd of corpers that are new to the system, NCCF helped in filling all the form properly and the next place to go till you finish. This also relief some people that are not used to the stress which an average Nigerian see as normal

2. PROMPT INFORMATION Many useful information about what and when to do what, from going to camp info assistance, to camp information even till finishing service year they serve as a community to get them communicated mostly to you in the evening fellowship, and guidance from our batches/stream that will make your service year less sressful.

3. ACCOMMODATION AFTER CAMP It's not an exergeration that the day you go to ur PPA from camp is always a stressful day, also with great fear of where you are going. NCCF will send bus to camp from different zones to convey corpers free. Many wil end up sleeping in NCCF family house because of the over-crowdness of LG corpers lodge. They will still also guide in registration in the LG, direction fresh corpers to their PPAs and opening their account(if needed)

4. MORAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH For some that lived in the family house, this the will easily relate with. NCCF helped corpers to have a better relationship in their faith. And straight some corpers loss desires as a religious body help reinstated moral and value to it members while also to connecting them with new people.

5. TALENT DISCOVERY NCCF has help been a platform for some to discover themselves. Right from camp they allow corpers to easily join any unit develop themselves. Just like SAED, NCCF has helped many develop skills and talent in the like of Drama, Choir, Bible teaching, Instrumentalist, Ushering etc

Левитан. Художник, который распиарил Плёс

Во время путешествия по Плёсу мы зашли в дом-музей Исаака Левитана. Взяли индивидуальную экскурсию. Она стоила 8 000 ₽.

Музей находится на набережной в доме купца Солодовникова. Именно здесь Левитан жил вместе со своим приятелем художником Алексеем Степановым и Софьей Кувшинниковой во время своих первых плёсских сезонов.

Наверху сохранились арендованные комнаты этой троицы с интерьерами. На первом этаже десяток картин Левитана, его личные вещи и дорожный мольберт художника.

В 1888 году Левитан вместе с Софьей Кувшинниковой и Алексеем Степановым путешествовал по Волге на пароходе. Им не особо заходили другие города. Увидев с воды уютный Плёс, они решили остановиться на пару дней. В итоге провели здесь всё лето и возвращались три года подряд.

Именно Плёс стал одним из главных поворотных моментов в карьере Левитана.

За три сезона здесь он написал 200 работ: картин, этюдов, рисунков и набросков. Среди них «Вечер. Золотой Плёс», «После дождя. Плёс», «Вечер на Волге». Третьяков купил две картины.

После волжских работ Левитана начала узнавать широкая публика. Вслед за ним в Плёс потянулись другие художники.

Софья Кувшинникова, которая сопровождала Левитана в поездках, была замужем. Их отношения были гораздо ближе отношений учителя и ученицы. Вскоре стали одной из самых обсуждаемых историй.

Плёс за эти сто с лишним лет не особо изменился. Городок до сих пор выглядит как декорация к картине Левитана: река, холмы, деревянные дома, церкви и тот самый свет.

На этом с Плёсом закончили. Завтра расскажу, как я съездил в Кострому, и как познакомился с главным отельером города Алексеем Метельковым.

The home of Christianity in the East was obliterated in seconds when an Atomic Bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan.

The city had a long and mystical relationship with the Catholic faith since 1549, since Saint Francis Xavier arrived at Kagoshima in Japan. The great Jesuit brought with him teachings of Christ and the Catholic faith.

The initial years of Japanese Christianity were a success and brought many baptisms and conversions. The Jesuits continued the success they experienced in other areas into the city of Nagasaki. So prolific were they in inspiring the Nagasaki people to follow Christ that the area became known as 'Little Rome'

The Japanese converted to Catholicism in droves, estimates state that 130,000 had converted by 1579

It was at that time the largest non European ruled Christian nation. The Jesuits, joined by Franciscans and Dominicans, won over locals

Domestic tensions would soon impinge upon this success

A ban on the Jesuits in 1587 arose from Japanese native Toyitomi Hideyoshi, hoping to stamp out the influence of Christianity and the Jesuits in particular, upon the Japanese. Incidents like the San Felipe, where it was alleged Jesuits were a precursor to invasion, only made the situation worse

In 1597, the Japanese church began the first of its many sufferings, when executions took place of the men who became the 26 Martyrs of Nagasaki. Like Our Lord, these men were crucified and pierced with spears

In 1615, Christianity was completely prohibited from Japan and missionaries were ordered to leave. Many stayed, even though persecutions followed. On September 10th 1622, 56 Christians were burned alive or beheaded at Nagasaki

The following centuries were equally bleak for Christians in Japan

Many tried to live their faith in secret but were forced to trample on an image of Christ or Mary once a year to prove that they were not secret Christians

Despite their great suffering and lacking priests to say Mass, the underground Church of Nagasaki saw Christians keep their faith from generation to generation

In 1865, after Japan had been reopened to non natives, a French priest named Bernard Petitjean was approached by some of those remnant Christians

One of them whispered that she believed as he did and asked to see an image of the Virgin Mary. The priest was stunned to find that they'd baptised their children for centuries and kept the faith

Most of the hidden Christians of that area were from the Village of Urakami

In thanksgiving for the Lord's presence, they decided to build a Cathedral on the grounds of the land where they had been forced to trample on Our Lady's image. The Church of the Immaculate Conception that was built there was the biggest in East Asia

The Cathedral was completed in 1925, a sign of hope for Christians leading in to the future. By 1945, the majority of Japan's blossoming Catholic Church lived in Nagasaki

After 250 years of exile, Japanese Christians finally had reasons for optimism

August 9th 1945, as local Catholics prepared for the Feast of the Assumption, the pilots of the Boxscar were instructed to look for the spire of the Urakami Cathedral as they dropped the 'Fatman' bomb

Under orders from Harry Truman, a Freemason, the 2nd Atom Bomb in 3 days dropped. The destruction was unimaginable

Fulton Sheen would later associate the viciousness of the atomic bomb attacks with the moral disorder of the world afterwards, seeing it has having opened up a new system where ends justified the means in all circumstances and man was capable of using technology to inflict hell on Earth

The bombing in Nagasaki happened at 11.02 am as many attended Mass

In the death toll

-8,500 of the 12,000 Christians - 3 separate orders of nuns - An entire Catholic school

There were stories of nuns singing as they made their way through the streets after the blast, many dropping dead on the street as they did so

Christians now make up less than 1% of the Japanese population
