Защитник московского «Локомотива» и национальной команды Евгений Морозов не сможет помочь сборной в ближайших товарищеских встречах. Об этом сообщила пресс-служба железнодорожников, уточнив, что 25-летний футболист вернулся в расположение клуба для прохождения восстановления.

«Наш защитник не сможет принять участие в матчах сборной против Ирана, Намибии и Нигерии по медицинским показаниям», — говорится в заявлении клуба.

Морозов пропустит три запланированных матча: 29 сентября в Казани (против Ирана), 3 октября в Екатеринбурге (против Намибии) и 6 октября в Нижнем Новгороде (против Нигерии). В текущем сезоне на счету защитника десять матчей за клуб во всех турнирах без результативных действий, а также один гол в десяти играх за национальную команду.

RCCG Hits A Major Milestone At Redeemers Health Village, Redemption City By Completing The First Telerobotics Surgery In West Africa.

The Redeemer's Health Village (RHV), in collaboration with RoboMed Global and Nisa Premier Hospital has achieved a historic feat by performing Nigeria's first tele-robotic surgery where a cancerous kidney tumor was removed remotely on the 19th of September 2026.

The Patient on whom this surgery was conducted on was located at Nisa Premier Hospital In Abuja While The surgeon operated from Toumai console at Redeemer's Health Village in Mowe, Ogun State.

The robotic surgery program at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was formally launched on August 22, 2026, through its Redeemer's Health Village (RHV) facility in partnership with RoboMed Global Inc.

The surgery which was performed in real time relied on Starlink connectivity, with MTN providing backup to ensure uninterrupted communication between the surgeon and the robotic system.

“This procedure is an example of how technology could improve access to specialized medical services in Nigeria,” says Prof. Dr. Obi Davies Ekwenna, the co-founder of Robo-med Global, a U.S.-based surgeon and an Associate Professor of Urology and Transplantation.

However, Dr. Davies also pointed out that connectivity disruptions and weather conditions could pose challenges, stressing the need for reliable infrastructure and adequate safeguards.

Коллега по лабе А.В. Хохлов выслал "Справочник мирового хозяйства" за 2026 год. В дороге полистал, нашел интересное. Решил, что надо начать совсем с базы - ВВП.

Я понимаю, в России бюджетный импульс, полувоенная экономика, но 4 место в мире по ППС - это, конечно, впечатляет. Учитывая, что впереди нас - лишь полуторамиллиардные азиатские гиганты и США. Из интересного - Мексика обогнала бывшую метрополию Испанию (хотя чему удивляться, когда у тебя населения в 3 раза больше), а турки внезапно обогнали итальянцев.

Решил заодно просчитать разрыв между номинальным ВВП и по покупательной способности. В лидерах ожидаемо - страны Глобального Юга. 1 бакс в Нигерии примерно равен 8 баксам в США, но это очень условно - потому что значительную часть услуг или товаров вы просто можете не получить в этой африканской стране. Но тешит самолюбие развивающихся стран, а это - уже немало.

Ожидаемо дорого производить все в Швейцарии, Израиле и США. Но, вероятно, безопаснее, чем в Нигерии.

The New York Times опубликовала большое интервью с Чимамандой Нгози Адичи. Впервые после смерти её маленького сына Нкану писательница и её муж Ивара Эсеге подробно рассказали о том, что произошло в Лагосе.

Нкану был 21 месяц. В конце декабря у него поднялась температура, родители решили, что это обычная инфекция, но ребёнку становилось хуже. Ивара Эсеге, врач по профессии, заподозрил редкое осложнение. Родители договорились о срочной госпитализации сына в Johns Hopkins в США. Перед перелётом нужно было пройти несколько исследований. Во время МРТ в одной из частных клиник Лагоса Нкану дали пропофол. У ребёнка остановилось сердце. Адичи  не знает даже точного времени смерти своего ребёнка.

...Дома до сих пор стоит стульчик Нкану — рядом со стульчиком его брата-близнеца. Осталась его одежда. Адичи рассказывает, что иногда по привычке заказывает детям вещи по две штуки. И только потом вспоминает, что одной из них больше не понадобится.

После смерти сына родители потребовали расследования. Медицинский совет признал нарушения в действиях нескольких врачей; разбирательство продолжается. Адичи говорит, что семье не нужны ни деньги, ни месть. Она хочет понять, что произошло, и не допустить повторения такой истории.

Но интервью The New York Times не только об этом.

Нигерия всегда была для Адичи больше чем местом действия. Теперь сама Адичи говорит, что её отношение к стране изменилось. После смерти отца в 2020 году она написала «Записки о горе», где говорила о физической природе утраты — о том, что горе ощущается не только мыслями, но и телом. После смерти сына всё оказалось ещё тяжелее.

При этом у неё двое других маленьких детей. И приходится жить дальше, вставать утром, заниматься ими, разговаривать, работать. Иногда, рассказывает Адичи, сын не хочет идти к ней на руки, потому что мама всё время плачет.

«Мне кажется, я не могу позволить своему горю проявиться целиком, потому что я мать».

Нет, речь не про забытый кошелёк в аэропорту.

▫️Сейчас туристы всё чаще рассказывают о кражах прямо из ручной клади во время полёта. Рюкзак лежит на верхней полке, пассажир спит, а кто-то спокойно достаёт нужное и закрывает сумку обратно.

Недавний случай произошёл на рейсе Дубай — Стамбул. Пассажир из Казани заснул, оставив рюкзак над своим креслом. После посадки он ещё не понимал, что произошло.

Пока на телефон не начали приходить уведомления о подозрительных операциях.

▫️Мужчина открыл кошелёк и обнаружил, что пропали 1000 долларов, 1500 дирхамов, 30 тысяч рублей и банковские карты. Часть денег злоумышленники успели списать с карт, остальные операции пассажир заблокировал.

И, судя по сообщениям о похожих случаях, это не какая-то единичная история.

▫️В августе на рейсе Екатеринбург — Стамбул пассажир заметил пропажу денег ещё во время посадки. На борт вызвали полицию, троих подозреваемых сняли с рейса.

На другом ночном рейсе пассажиры спали, когда мужчина снял чужую сумку с верхней полки и начал перебирать содержимое. Его заметила бортпроводница.

▫️А летом на рейсе Москва — Анкара турист обнаружил после посадки, что из рюкзака исчезла часть валюты. Причём вместо пропавших денег в сумке оказались купюры Нигерии и Узбекистана.

И вот что меня во всей этой истории напрягает больше всего.

▫️Мы привыкли думать: ручная кладь — значит, всё ценное при мне. Но если рюкзак лежит на верхней полке, а вы спите, он уже не совсем при вас.

▫️Поэтому деньги, карты и документы в самолёте лучше хранить не просто в ручной клади, а так, чтобы до них нельзя было добраться незаметно.

В следующем посте покажу, куда именно лучше убрать деньги и карты во время полёта, чтобы их не вытащили из ручной клади, пока вы спите.

Потому что узнать об этом уже в аэропорту — самый дорогой способ научиться.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.): He earned his doctorate in Biblical Studies (completed between 2009 and 2012) through a collaborative academic programme between NBTS, Ogbomoso and the University of Jos.

Literary Contributions: Dr. Idowu is a prolific writer who has authored more than 15 books and published over 35 academic papers and journal articles focusing on Christian doctrine, spiritual leadership, and apologetics.

👉🏾 Le Ministère nigérien des Affaires Étrangères a publié, jeudi 17 septembre, un communiqué en réaction à celui diffusé le 3 septembre par le Ministère fédéral des Affaires Étrangères du Nigeria, qui répondait à des allégations circulant sur les réseaux sociaux. Celles-ci suggéraient que la tentative de déstabilisation survenue au Niger dans la nuit du 28 au 29 août aurait bénéficié du soutien du Nigeria.

🗣️ Niamey affirme que le Gouvernement nigérien ne saurait être tenu responsable de propos tenus sur les réseaux sociaux, sauf si le Nigeria se reconnaissait lui-même une certaine culpabilité. Il rappelle qu'il n'a pas pour habitude d'accuser sans faits bien établis, et affirme qu'aucun officiel nigérien ni aucune communication officielle n'a, à ce jour, mis en cause le Nigeria. Le capitaine Roger Gabriel, dans son témoignage télévisé, n'a cité ou fait allusion ni à ce pays ni à ses autorités.

Nigeria Accelerates Electrification: Over 5 Million Off-Grid Connections in 2025–2026

Nigeria recorded over 5 million new off-grid electricity connections during the 2025–2026 period. This was announced by Dayo Olovoniyi, Technical Lead for the Mission 300 program in Nigeria, during the launch of new solar products in Lagos.

Mission 300 is a joint initiative by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the World Bank aimed at connecting 300 million Africans to electricity by 2030. According to the organizers, the program has already provided electricity access to 50 million people across the continent, with 4.5 million of them in Nigeria.

A key support mechanism is the DARES (Distributed Access through Renewable Energy Scale-up) program, implemented by the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) with $750 million in World Bank funding. The program provides targeted grants to companies deploying solar mini-grids and standalone systems in rural and underserved communities. DARES aims to reach 17.5 million Nigerians by 2028.
