Which Telegram statistic do you need?

The example’s 10,000 subscribers, 1,500 views, 60 reactions and 15 comments give 15%, 4% and 1% respectively. They are different measurements. Adding them together under an unexplained “engagement score” hides the denominators and can make unlike channels look comparable.
Compare measured reach with a peer group
Manual arithmetic gives a ratio, not a benchmark. The filled BBC example below uses our saved measurement. Paste another public username to check its coverage, peer group and observation date. Small or unmeasured channels may have no audit result.

Make the comparison fair
- Use the same post ageA ten-minute-old announcement and a week-old post have had different opportunities to collect views.
- Use several ordinary postsA forwarded hit, giveaway or pinned post may be atypical. The middle value of comparable posts is often more useful than one maximum.
- Keep the context visibleSize, topic, language and activity affect comparisons. The peer tool shows the group it could actually use.

Questions about this check
Can I check Telegram channel stats without being an admin?
You can inspect public counts and use these manual ratios. The peer audit needs a public channel in our catalog, sufficient measurements and at least 10,000 subscribers. Telegram’s detailed internal statistics are a separate feature available to eligible administrators.
What is a good Telegram engagement rate?
There is no single rate for all channels. First specify the numerator and denominator: views per subscriber, reactions per view and comments per view answer different questions. Compare the same metric, post age and audience context.
Why can views be higher than subscribers?
Views include forwarded copies and are approximate. They can include people outside the subscriber list and repeat viewing. A views/subscribers ratio above 100% is not by itself evidence of manipulated counts.
