Estimate one month of direct ad sales
Example assumptions are filled in. Use one currency for every money field; the calculator does not convert currencies or look up private earnings.
- Gross sales scenario
- 900
- After listed costs, before tax
- 610
- Buyer's eCPM
- 12.5
6 expected sold placements; 90 in sales commission. A negative remainder means these assumptions do not cover the listed costs.
Follow the filled example from price to remainder
| Step | Example arithmetic | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Sold inventory | 8 available placements × 75% = 6 | Six expected paid placements during the month |
| Gross sales | 6 × 150 = 900 | Revenue before the listed deductions |
| Sales commission | 900 × 10% = 90 | Cost of selling those placements |
| After listed costs | 900 − 90 − 200 = 610 | Remainder before tax and any unlisted expenses |
| Buyer’s eCPM | 150 ÷ 12,000 × 1,000 = 12.50 | Quoted placement cost per 1,000 expected views |
These values demonstrate the calculation; they are not observed market rates. Change the sold percentage to see the cost of unsold slots. Change the quoted price or commission to test a seller arrangement. A result below zero means the listed costs exceed the scenario’s receipts.
Estimate reach before trusting an advertising quote
A subscriber count is not a delivery guarantee. Use the audience audit and expected-view tool to inspect an indexed channel’s measurement date, comparable channels and expected views over time. Then enter the relevant view estimate in this calculator.
If the placement will be deleted after 24 hours, use a 24-hour view estimate. A permanent post may keep collecting views, but that does not mean every view is a unique potential customer or a sale.
Direct placements and platform payouts are separate
The formulas are gross sales = price × available placements × sold percentage; remainder = gross sales × (1 − commission percentage) − listed costs; eCPM = price ÷ expected placement views × 1,000. No market-rate dataset or income prediction is hidden behind the numbers.
Telegram’s own advertising revenue uses separate monetization statistics and access rights, described in the official revenue API. To understand what public numbers cannot reveal, read how channel earnings can and cannot be checked. Before choosing an ad seller, use the public contact lookup.
Questions about this check
Can this earning checker reveal another channel’s actual income?
No. The calculator uses the assumptions you enter. Public subscriber and post view counts cannot establish which placements sold, their final prices, private deals, costs or actual Telegram Ads payouts.
Why does the estimate use a sold percentage?
Available advertising slots are not automatically paid orders. The sold percentage lets you model unsold inventory. It is an assumption, not a measured probability for a named channel.
Does the result include Telegram Ads revenue?
No. This model covers direct placements you price and sell yourself. Revenue credited by Telegram, Stars, paid subscriptions and affiliate commissions require their own records and should not be inferred from ordinary post views.
