Telegram gifts and NFT gifts: what channels post
0.7% of 86,682 active public Telegram channels linked a collectible gift in their last 100 posts, 4,239 posts in total (October 2026). The most linked collection was Resistancedog, posted by 185 channels.
What are Telegram gifts?
Telegram launched gifts in October 2024 as items bought with Stars. In January 2025 they became upgradeable into collectibles, in May 2025 Telegram opened a marketplace for them, and in late 2025 and 2026 it added auctions, purchase offers, crafting and signed marketplace gifts. Channels can receive gifts and show them on their profile. Collectible gift pages have public links of the form t.me/nft/…, which is what we count.

The 579 channels that post gift links are mostly crypto, games, news channels. 21.8% of those we could date were created after February 2025, against 2.7% of all active channels: gift trading attracted new channels. How to sell Telegram gifts
Only collectibles can be sold. Telegram’s own marketplace takes a fee: the seller keeps 80% of a price in Stars or 90% of a price in TON, within limits of 125 to 100,000 Stars. Collectibles moved to the TON blockchain can also be traded on outside NFT markets.

What are Telegram gifts?
Gifts are images with animations that users buy with Stars and send to other users or channels. A gift can be kept on the profile, converted back into Stars by the recipient, or upgraded into a numbered collectible with unique design.
What are Telegram NFT gifts?
Collectible gifts, introduced in January 2025. Each has a number, model, backdrop and symbol; it can be transferred, sold on Telegram’s marketplace, auctioned or moved to the TON blockchain as an NFT.

Open the collectible on your profile and choose to sell it. Telegram’s configuration allows prices from 125 to 100,000 Stars; the seller receives 80% of a Star price or 90% of a TON price. Ordinary gifts cannot be sold, only converted into Stars or upgraded.
Can you make money with Telegram gifts?
Some users trade collectibles for profit, but prices move with demand and new releases. A gift bought to resell is a speculative item, not income.

Sources and method
We read the last 100 public posts of 107,721 Telegram channels with at least 1,000 subscribers, collected from the web version of each channel between October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026. 86,682 of them posted within 30 days of collection and form the base of every share on this page. The window covers 9,008,552 posts; for the median channel it spans 54 days. Channels with fewer than 20 posts are left out.
Star reactions are the paid reactions shown under each post: the counter is the number of Stars readers sent, and Telegram credits those Stars to the channel. Dollar values use the creator payout rate of $0.013 per Star; they are estimates of the Stars’ payout value, not of anyone’s bank balance. Links are classified by domain and by Telegram link type (bots, mini apps, invite links, gift and boost links). Ad markers are text labels such as erid, #ad or #реклама; unlabelled ads are not counted. Topic and language are neural-network labels from our channel index; channel creation periods come from the numeric channel ID and are intervals, not dates.
