Is a Telegram deal channel still active? Freshness, frequency and reach

A deal is only as fresh as the channel that posts it. Activity is easy to check — and our catalog shows that a large subscriber count says little about how many people see each post.

Last post and posting rhythm

Among 2,277 deal channels with 10K+ subscribers and a known last post, 80.4% had posted within 30 days of our last check, 15.2% had been silent for over 90 days and 7.6% for over a year. Our analysis rated 41.7% as posting several times a day. A quiet channel is not dangerous, but its old offers are no longer offers.

Reach is much smaller than subscribers

For 1,515 deal channels with a usable historical measurement, the median recorded views per post was 3.4% of subscribers. Branches differ: 0.8% for Flipkart-named channels, 7.2% for flight deals. Use the TGScope channel audit to estimate reach for a specific channel instead of trusting the subscriber count.

Networks and duplicate feeds

Many publishers run several channels — one per category, store or country — that repeat the same deals. Following three of them multiplies notifications, not offers. Check the channel description for “our other channels” and keep the one closest to what you buy.

Automation is fine; silence after errors is not

Some feeds are posted by bots that watch prices. That can make them fast. What matters is whether anyone corrects mistakes: look for posts updated as ended, notes about failed codes or replies in a linked discussion group.

Use the discussion group as a signal

If a channel has comments or a chat, read the replies under recent deals. Buyers often report quickly when a code fails or a price has changed. A channel that deletes every critical reply tells you something too.

Before you buy

  1. Check the date of the latest post.
  2. Scroll a week back to see the posting rhythm.
  3. Estimate reach with the channel audit.
  4. Keep one channel per publisher network.

Questions about Channel activity & reach

How often should a good deal channel post?

Often enough to match how fast prices change in its niche. A daily rhythm with corrections is more useful than dozens of uncorrected posts.

Why does a channel with many subscribers get few views?

Subscribers accumulate over years and many mute or ignore channels. Views per post are a better measure of the active audience.

About this data

The catalog was extracted on 2026-10-18 from a read-only snapshot of the TGScope database, not from a new Telegram crawl; its latest catalog check is 2026-09-19. A deal channel here is a public channel with 1K+ subscribers whose title, username or tags name deals, discounts, coupons, cashback, freebies or a marketplace in one of several languages. We removed betting, casino, crypto, adult, account-reselling, replica-finder, follower-selling, game-skin and earning-app channels, and deduplicated records.

Post shares come from 56,138 public posts published between 2026-06-12 and 2026-10-01 by 1,928 of these channels and collected by our crawler — a sample, not every post. We read visible text only: links hidden behind words and edit history are not seen, so link shares are lower bounds. Labels and conditions are detected with patterns tuned for English, Russian, Italian and Spanish.

Promotion level and posting rhythm are content-analysis ratings recorded when each channel was analysed. Reach uses the recorded views-per-subscriber ratio only for 10K+ channels analysed before 27 July 2026 with a post within 30 days before analysis, excluding a known placeholder value. Languages are detected automatically and are not evidence of a channel’s country.

We do not test codes, prices, stock or sellers, and nothing on these pages is a live deal. Channels in samples are catalog records, not endorsements, and inclusion does not establish official status.
