“Free” in a Telegram shopping post can mean a genuine giveaway, a free game on an official store, a sample you pay shipping for, or a refund you might receive later. Each needs a different check.

Who posts freebies
We counted 461 public channels with 1K+ subscribers built around freebies, 145 with 10K+. The larger ones are mainly Russian (84) and English (31). Russian-language feeds use the word “халява” and mix free items with delivery-service codes; others focus on free games, samples and giveaways.
Five meanings of free
A free item can be an official giveaway on a store or game platform, a sample with a shipping charge, a free trial that renews into a paid plan, a product refunded after a review, or a prize for subscribing to sponsor channels. In this branch, 14.3% of collected posts set a time limit and 10.2% attach a condition such as a card, membership or first order.
Your data is often the price
Sample and giveaway forms often ask for a phone number, address or more. Check who runs the form and whether the offer is announced on the brand’s own site. Do not enter card details to cover “free shipping” on a site you would not otherwise trust.
Free games and digital items
Claim free games and digital items on the official store or launcher page, not from a download link in a post. Channels offering “free premium accounts”, cracked apps or keys from unknown sites are excluded from our pools; they are a common route to stolen accounts and malware.
Giveaways that require subscriptions
Telegram giveaways often require subscribing to several sponsor channels. Check whether winners are announced and whether prizes are described clearly. A prize that requires you to pay a delivery fee, tax or “unlock” payment is a scam signal.

The catalog was extracted on 2026-10-18 from a read-only snapshot of the TGScope database, not from a new Telegram crawl; its latest catalog check is 2026-09-19. A deal channel here is a public channel with 1K+ subscribers whose title, username or tags name deals, discounts, coupons, cashback, freebies or a marketplace in one of several languages. We removed betting, casino, crypto, adult, account-reselling, replica-finder, follower-selling, game-skin and earning-app channels, and deduplicated records.
Post shares come from 56,138 public posts published between 2026-06-12 and 2026-10-01 by 1,928 of these channels and collected by our crawler — a sample, not every post. We read visible text only: links hidden behind words and edit history are not seen, so link shares are lower bounds. Labels and conditions are detected with patterns tuned for English, Russian, Italian and Spanish.
Promotion level and posting rhythm are content-analysis ratings recorded when each channel was analysed. Reach uses the recorded views-per-subscriber ratio only for 10K+ channels analysed before 27 July 2026 with a post within 30 days before analysis, excluding a known placeholder value. Languages are detected automatically and are not evidence of a channel’s country.
