How to check a Telegram deal before you buy: a five-minute routine
A deal post compresses a shopping decision into a photo, two prices and a link. This routine expands it again — fast enough to use before the offer ends.
Prepared 18 October 2026 · Independent shopping guidance
- Product and variant. Is the linked page the same model, size and colour?
- Reference price. Was anyone actually paying the struck-through price?
- Conditions. Do you have the coupon, card or membership the price needs?
- Timing. When was this posted, and has the channel marked it ended?
- Seller. Who sells and ships it, and can you return it?
- Link. Which domain opens — and is it spelled correctly?
- Label. Is this an affiliate find or a paid placement?
Confirm it is the same product
Check the model, variant, size, colour and pack size on the page the link opens. Deal posts often show a product photo and a headline price taken from different options. If the page does not select the same variant automatically, select it yourself and see whether the price stays.
Rebuild the final price
Add the item to your basket and apply only the coupons, cards and memberships you actually have. Across 56,138 collected posts, 8.2% tied the price to such a condition; in English-language posts, mostly Indian deal feeds, the share was 16.8%. Include shipping and taxes before you compare.
Check whether the offer is still running
Only 7.6% of collected posts stated an explicit time limit. Some channels edit posts after a deal ends: 1.1% of posts overall, and 3.7% of Italian-language posts, were already marked ended or sold out when collected. When a post carries no marker, the time it was published is your best guide.
Check who sells and how returns work
A marketplace link can lead to the store itself or to an independent seller. Read the seller name, rating, delivery estimate and return window. A price that is only good with no right of return is a different decision from the same price with a free return.
Question the reference price
20.4% of posts showed a reference price — “instead of”, MRP, PVP or “вместо”. The share was 65.7% in Italian-language posts and 46.6% in Spanish-language posts. A reference price can be a list price that nobody paid, so compare the deal with the recent price history, not with the struck-through number.
Before you buy
- Match the exact product and variant.
- Rebuild the price in your basket with only your discounts.
- Check the post time and any ended marker.
- Read seller, delivery and returns, then compare with price history.

Questions about Check a deal
How quickly do Telegram deals expire?
There is no single answer. Few posts state a time limit, and fast-moving branches such as price errors show the highest share of posts later marked ended. Check the timestamp.
Is the struck-through price trustworthy?
Not necessarily. It may be a list price or a short-lived earlier price. Price history is a better comparison.
About this data
The catalog was extracted on 2026-10-18 from a read-only snapshot of the TGScope database, not from a new Telegram crawl; its latest catalog check is 2026-09-19. A deal channel here is a public channel with 1K+ subscribers whose title, username or tags name deals, discounts, coupons, cashback, freebies or a marketplace in one of several languages. We removed betting, casino, crypto, adult, account-reselling, replica-finder, follower-selling, game-skin and earning-app channels, and deduplicated records.
Post shares come from 56,138 public posts published between 2026-06-12 and 2026-10-01 by 1,928 of these channels and collected by our crawler — a sample, not every post. We read visible text only: links hidden behind words and edit history are not seen, so link shares are lower bounds. Labels and conditions are detected with patterns tuned for English, Russian, Italian and Spanish.
Promotion level and posting rhythm are content-analysis ratings recorded when each channel was analysed. Reach uses the recorded views-per-subscriber ratio only for 10K+ channels analysed before 27 July 2026 with a post within 30 days before analysis, excluding a known placeholder value. Languages are detected automatically and are not evidence of a channel’s country.
We do not test codes, prices, stock or sellers, and nothing on these pages is a live deal. Channels in samples are catalog records, not endorsements, and inclusion does not establish official status.
